I started having this issue as of about 1 hour ago.

If I run cron.php or do a manual update I constantly get the error: Update Status: Error 0: 0 Success

Coincidently I've been having similar issues with the Browscap module since I installed it a couple of days ago (which I have reported in the necessary area).

Any help would be appreciated.

We're not supporting the 5.x-1.* series any more. All effort is going towards a 5.x-2.0 release so we can move this into core before the D6 code freeze. Please try the 5.x-2.0-beta release and see if your problems go away.
