Sessions and day stage content so far fits into the same time slots, but DMB content will be between and it's likely that sprints and workshops will span multiple. We'll need the schedule to support this or otherwise will have to show this content on a different page.

To handle sub-time slot content there could be an additional field on DMB nodes that shows start and end time. The Time slot reference will still exist but will be hidden on view, that way the schedule page can still group that content but the additional field will say when that particular session actually starts and ends.

It may be possible to make the time-slot multi-select so that content that doesn't exactly line up can be grouped correctly.

Here's what I'm thinking for DMB content within a time slot.
Only local images are allowed.

Also attaching the views export since the scratch site will be rebuilt.

We had the same problem in London, and the way we dealt with it was perhaps a little crude, but effective. We basically put the sub-time slot into the node title and ensured the ordering was set correctly, see: http://london2011.drupal.org/conference/schedule/tuesday

It may be better to add an extra field, rather than shoehorn it into the node titles.

A separate issue would be if the content spans time slots, rather than sits as a sub-time of one. Is that ever the case?

@ #3 The only content that could span time slots is sprints and the coder lounge, and right now it's unlikely we'll be showing that on the main schedule.
