Is it possible to create a register button next to the login button?

I love the simplicity of this theme, but would like to allow users to easily register.

What you see there is basically all I could fit in that section.

I tried to put in as much of the other Drupal content in that section, but the size limits the expandability of what is available in that section.

I'm still learning as I go, and if I can find a way of getting a registration button in, I'll do it.
