I have setup my category this way:
cat
-cont1
--node1
--node2
-cont2
--node3

I am only seeing "Home>" breadcrumb on node1 and node2 but I can see full breadcrumb for node3 i.e "Home>cat>cont2", so node1 and node2 are missing full breadcrumb. Is this a bug?

Check the property of your cont-1, is the meun option enabled for assigned nodes?
