“log message” text area feature request

I find it very useful to add comments (notes) to the page source (edit view) when making changes to a book page. I think the “log message” text area in the page can serve this purpose. As it currently functions, it serves only as a way to enter comments that show up in the “list of revisions” view. I propose that the comments be displayed in the actual “log message” text area for both non-revisions and revisions versions (in addition to being displayed in the “list of revisions” view)
