Drupal 7.9, elFinder 1.2 I am able to make changes in the elFinder configuration in the expected way.
TinyMCE running normally - but no sign of elFinder. When I click on the Files tab in Content, I see a blank screen in the area diretly under the tabs for Content, Comments, Files, Webforms.
Ideas?
TIA for your help.

Bartox commentedHey eduuser,
I came across the same issue. I could make it work by using the elfinder lib version 1.1 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/elfinder/files/) instead of the 1.2 . The issue is related to the jquery version used by the drupal module, so I am guessing the issue will be fixed on the upcoming releases of this great module.
Regards,

polskikrol commentedI have a very similar issue...
(1) admin/content/files works fine.
(2) index.php?q=elfinder does not work and just gives a blank screen.
Of course, ckeditor uses (2) to perform the call for elfinder, so the integration does not work with ckeditor.
ph0enix commentedIf there are blank screen without any design (background, etc) - please check server error log.
Is rollback to 0.6 version and elFinder 1.1 restoring functiuonality?
polskikrol commentedActually, just noticed another issue. Clean URLs are enabled but this module does not adhere to the rewrite rules. Instead of "index.php?q=elfinder", "elfinder" should be used with perhaps the additional parameters passed via POST?
polskikrol commentedDont errors in 'Recent log messages' or PHP errors in Apache error logs. However, get the following JS error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'replace' of undefined
Tried turning off JS aggregation and get the same error.
Here is some more information....

So, I disabled DHTML and the issue goes away.
Oddly, I have another site running Drupal 6 w/ DHTML and elFinder 1.2 w/ the latest dev of this module and do not have any issues.
This should be enough info to replicate the problem, will see if I can debug anymore.
polskikrol commentedNot compatible with DHTML option:
Expand on Bullet: All links will continue to function as static links. To expand an item, click the bullet icon next to the link.
Changed this option and now it loads with DHTML enabled. Perhaps this should be investigated as there is some JS conflict ?
ph0enix commentedIf DHTML menu is globally modifying all links - we can't do anythyng with this.
Possible we can try to disable DHTML menu when running elFinder in popup - same issue was with admin_menu module. I think incompatibility info should be added to Known Bugs list.
polskikrol commentedThe issue is only with one of the DHTML menu options, 'Expand on Bullet'. Not sure how to properly debug this to determine if its the issue as you state. Perhaps a bug should be submitted against DHTML menu?

ph0enix commentedLet me first try to reproduce this
Comment #11
eduuser commentedFirefox 3.6.24 - but probably not a browser issue.
Old Man commentedThe development version fixes this problem.

killerpoke commentedI tried to get elfinder running at work today, but no chance.
Now I have a working solution:
I use latest dev-version (eef921c430972e3a021ef2d71a152821efd1ba2b, Thu Jan 05 2012 14:17:51 GMT+0100 (CET)) and only have to do 2 little fixes:
set closeOnEditorCallback to true (js/elfinder.callback.js, line 12)I know this is no proper solution, but for a current project this will work.
