It seems that if I have a photo field in my blog posts, the image and body are presented in two separate div tags, so setting the image float property does nothing.

How can we float images left and have text wrap around our blog posts in Mayo?

I used the ckeditor and IMCE modules and inserted an image in the body field and positioned it left with text wrapping nicely around.

This worked but I believe you are you saying you have a separate field for the image? Wrapping a field with the contents of another field seems to be beyond what a theme will ordinarily do. Will that work for you in Bartik?
