What I want is to make a simple view that gets and displays all revisions of a given content/node. Like this with the following fields added:

Revision ID: 7
Date: Oct. 25. 2011
Log: Changed line 4.
Revision author: user1

Revision ID: 6
Date: Oct. 22. 2011
Log: Changed line 8.
Revision author: user2

Revision ID: 5
Date: Oct. 09. 2011
Log: Changed line 3.
Revision author: user3

And so on.

Right now I'm only able to make Views display the LATEST revision (in this example =revision ID 7). When I make a new revision (ID 8) this will be displayed and ID 7, 6, 5 and so on will not. It seems rather illogical, since I've not set any limitations on the number of items to display.

Solved! The View type needs to be 'content revision'. I had it set to 'content'.

I have the same issue, but even using the "content revision" view type, it still only shows one.

I'm unable to create a view which shows all revisions (even building the new view as "content revisions").

Beware, if your node has only one revision (aka no revision), you'll run into #808730: Show the Revisions tab/page even when only one revision exists.

This issue is elder, but that one has a patch attached.

So I gather this is not possible for the layman to do without some custom coding?
Has anyone found a solution to what should obviously be a standard feature.

Why would I want to see only one revision?

Looks like something fundamental is missing to this functionality.

Issue summary: View changes

To create a view that shows all revisions select "Show: Content revisions" when creating the view.

When editing the view remove the Filter Criteria "Published (yes)".

When adding fields to the view choose fields preceded with this "Content (historical data):" to display the field value from the revision and not the current value of that field.
This does not apply to the Title field and things such as the edit link field.

Also make sure you've selected "Create new revision" under publishing options for the content type(s) that you're creating a revision view for. Without that selected there is only the current revision of your content.
