I don't see a subscribe link. I do see the "do not send notifications for this update" checkbox, but nothing else. I went into the content type and checked the settings for notifications. Am I missing something?

gastewart CreditAttribution: gastewart commentedSame issue. I only get a general "Add Subscription" link in the navigation menu, even though Subscription Settings are configured for: "Subscription links will be displayed for full node pages."

ggamba CreditAttribution: ggamba commentedThere is a block you can use for this. With Bartik, I have it enabled in Content area, just under the body of the page.

Desi Raaj CreditAttribution: Desi Raaj commentedany idea how to use that block with panels, I'm using panels to display user page and would like to show a "Subscribe" link on the user page with a specific content type for that user. Any idea how to accomplish this?

Zidewinder CreditAttribution: Zidewinder commentedSame problem here. Also, on the Notifications tab of the user page, if I click "Content Type", "Tags", etc, it just says "No subscriptions available" even though I have indeed enabled subscriptions for several content types and a set of tags.
This negates almost the entire functionality of the module, so I'm bumping it up to critical.

webflo CreditAttribution: webflo commentedThis patch should fix the problem. Please check. Maybe there is solution with less overhead. But this should be a follow up.

I'm having some access troubles with my site. As soon as I can get back some permissions, I'll apply this and advise.
Thanks!

dmiric CreditAttribution: dmiric commentedI tried this patch and still cant add any subscriptions or see links on node pages.
EDIT: Sorry I just realized that I forgot to setup some options. Since probably many people will miss this part heres the url where you should check.
admin/config/messaging/subscriptions/ui
Its important to check there that you want block visible in order for it to show.

Zidewinder CreditAttribution: Zidewinder commentedI too am still not seeing any subscription links on node pages. The block is working, but I'd much rather have the links show up on the nodes themselves if possible!

donquixote CreditAttribution: donquixote commentedApparently this is in 7.x-1.0-alpha2.
But I still don't see those links show up in the content type "Manage display" configuration, nor when viewing a node.

donquixote CreditAttribution: donquixote commentedOk, just found, there are a few checkboxes to check in subscription settings / UI.
brandy.brown CreditAttribution: brandy.brown commentedi am now running -alpha2 (which i am pretty sure already has patch code included) and I still don't see a subscribe to on the node/ forum page. I do see that the block works, but I would like it to be simpler for end users. The wording on those links in that block are confusing!! Also the "use checkboxes" feature in the block doesn't work.

brandy.brown CreditAttribution: brandy.brown commentedmaybe someone can just tell me what file I can find the links verbiage in so I can just change them to something simpler. (quick fix, but would still like to see subscribe next to forum names, topics, etc)
