I have user names longer than 15 characters that i don't want trimmed in (Views).
I understand how to override the template for username in D6, but this is not as clear to me in D7.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and advice.

dawehnerIf you want usernames in general it's a drupal core question. I think you can still override theme_username.

silvina commentedIn Drupal7 you need to override the theme_preproceses_username (http://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/includes--theme.inc/function/template_p...). (you need to change, or delete, where says:
if (drupal_strlen($name) > 20) {
$name = drupal_substr($name, 0, 15) . '...';
}
