The secondary links are not enabled for lack of space.

Where do you propose the secondary links should be located? I am open any to suggestions.

I have a ton of space on the bottom right of the bar. Do other sites not? I like this theme a lot, but I may go back and put the secondary links code in myself, because I do like to use them.

Here http://amadou.sp0ke.net/ you have a lot of space for the secondary links.
You can do something like the bluemarine theme does (an example: http://project.para.ro)

What about the people who's site names and site slogans are longer than the one on the demo site? There wouldn't be any space for the secondary links as you have suggested.

This was a problem with the initial release version(s) of Amadou. There were issues with the site name and site slogan over lapping the primary links. You can read about this issue at http://drupal.org/node/114460 This is why I move the primary links from the bottom to the top of the header.

Since you need the secondary links, I suggest that you add them to the header area to suits your individual needs; making such a change to the theme would affect other people if I were to do it.
