Follow-up from #1113588-60: Provide find_conf_path() function by re-factoring reusable code from existing conf_path() function. where multisite installations in 8.x were broken briefly because of a small typo.

Catch requests:

I have a feeling we don't and potentially may never have multi-site tests - can someone open a followup issue to confirm that is really true.

So here is that issue. :)

See related (duplicate?) #1117308: It should be possible to test things that depend on base_path() and conf_path()
And #1294974: PIFR should provide a way to test multisite installations.
