FYI: latest Conditional Field and Profile2 are not compatible. See #1288522: Compatibility with profile2 (and others?), hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I'm having this same problem, even after the fix in #1288522. Will post there as well, but not sure what the problem is. Running dev versions of each, with patch from 128522.

#1288522: Compatibility with profile2 (and others?) is fixed, let's close this issue as duplicate.

I tried Profile2 with latest CF, it works well.

Just wanted to confirm that I am having the same issue:
Drupal 7.12
conditional_fields 7.x-3.x-dev (2012-Apr-24)
Profile 2 7.x-1.2
