lipcpro commentedWhen you first install spamicide you get a notification on the modules page that says "You can now configure the Spamicide module for your site." with an embedded link to the admin page which is indeed at admin/config/spamicide. Are you getting a page not found?
I would go back to admin/modules to make sure that it did in fact install.
You may want to look in the logs to see if there is an error.

bavarian commentedyes, there was some kind of error when i tried to enable it for the first time. but can't remember exactly what it was
so now, i disabled the spamicide module, uninstalled it ... and enabled it again in the module section of my site. unfortunately same error again, saying
"The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."
reloading module section. spamicide seems enabled. checking permission and saw i need to enable admin to be able to administrate the module. but still can't find spamicide-admin link in admin section, and direct link (admin/config/spamicide) does not do the trick either ...

bavarian commentedProblem resolved - partially at least .....
Disabling a few other modules finally allowed a proper installation of Spamicide. I suspect (not sure though) it was the "meta tag" module that caused all this trouble for me.
Now I can administrate Spamicide and access it through admin/config/spamicide.
But still no link in the admin-section of my site.
