I have noticed if you put links in the footer say: content/contact-us, it works fine on the front page, BUT, if you navigate to another page they stop working. The reason I see is that any link in the footer has to be a complete url link, like, www.mywebsite.com/content/contact-us. Is there a way to code the footer to use the $base_url code or whatever it is, so that if you change the site name you will not have to go back and hard code everything again?
Hope I made since.
