How about this as an option:

List all modules in your list, even the -dev ones. The current ones continue in green. The ones for which there is an update show as either yellow or orange. And the -dev ones show as red (for bad news).

Then I'd like to see a "notes" field added so we can enter in "not updating because I don't like new feature" or "used on abcd.com, efgh.info, ijkl.net" etc. This way, our "catch-all" sites for monitoring multiple sites will at least alert us to an upgrade on the appropriate sites.

You've got the notes field; it now tries to list all modules you have, even -dev ones. THis is in now -dev and will be in 1.1.

Sorry, yea. The next generation time for the -dev tarball will be in about 9 hours unfortunately. I've got a couple of people testing this, though, and if it looks good I may just roll a new release tonight.
