Viewers of our web sites have the advantage of nodes themed and beautified by contemplate, but what about the humble data entry clerk? A cck node out of the box, presents an austere face to one who would add or edit the node. A site developer could gain many friends among those creating content for the site, if said developer could style the add / edit form to more closely match the finished node.
Is it possible to add to contemplate a field group "Add / edit form" with a text areas for each of "Form template" and "form variables"?

The question I have is should this be inside the Contemplate module, or in a different module.
It deals with a different page type (body and teaser doesn't really make sense for a form), but I would have thought the underlying mechanism should be identical.

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedNice idea, for many data entry speed of is important, so chosing the layout most suited to the data entry user would be ideal. A layout for viewing would be targeted at producing interest and drawing the reader into the content, so it is unlikely the two would be the same.
A proviso, there may be an advantage for some users to see the content in the format it will be finally displayed.
I would suggest that if the same module or a new module were to be used, then the default entry format should be selectable from the standard CCK format, contemplate format or the new defined format.

Your help is appreciated.
