equivalent in 7.x for votingapi_get_content_votes - need documentation

Hi all,
I'm trying to write a small snippet to use in a computed field in 7.x

I need to get the votes of the node, but seem that the function votingapi_get_content_votes is no more exist in 7.x

I've difficult to find documentation for 7.x. Can you help me?

I need just the small code required to get the total votes of the node (I'm using Rate)
