I'll create a cloud service (perhaps running on Amazon EC2) for people to try out the Recommender API. Mahout (the recommender server) is going to run on the cloud, and people just need to install the Recommender API module on their Drupal site, and then request an account on the cloud to run recommender computation in Mahout.

@mefisto75: The recommender cloud is now in pilot testing phase. If your site qualifies certain criteria, we can host it for you for free. If you are interested, please send an email to contact@drupalai.com and explain what is your site and your need.
