Did you get anywhere with this problem? I've got just the same messages, but strangely, the emails are sent.
I'd be glad to hear if you solved it.

This is not a Simple Cart problem.
Configure sending emails at your site first. Probably you do not have sendmail installed at your server.

Has anyone still receiving this problem with Drupal. All of sudden, our site began getting the same information.
