I was testing an upgrade from Context 2.0 to 3.0 and noticed that CCK field conditions have been removed in Context 3.0. I am using CCK checkbox fields to control the addition of a body class via Context, which defines the layout of my page. Moving to 3.0 removes these completely, so the layout breaks. I wasn't able to find a thread discussing the removal of CCK conditions in this version.

I think it is important to note in the upgrade notes on the Context project page under "Upgrading from Context 2.x for Drupal 6.x" that users will lose their CCK conditions. Thanks.

I was burned by this as well.

There was a note about how existing functionality was now broken out in to plug-ins, but that simply was not true for CCK field support.

I think it would simply be better to roll this widely used patch , http://drupal.org/node/629756 , into the 6.3 main branch and then users will have a supported upgrade path.
