Support picture upload to Flickr

Hello,

I stumbled upon this module when I was searching for modules which could possibly upload an image to Flickr for usage in a photoblog with consolidated image storage on Flickr. From what I gathered from the user interface, the module would upload the photo to Flickr when adding one through a custom content type with an image field with the media file selector widget. As upload destination I have selected "Flickr photos" in the field settings.

To my surprise the photo didn't get uploaded to Flickr on saving the content but instead got stored on the local server in the public files.

So my question is: Is this even possible with this module (at least in the current state) or will this be supported later on?
