In Clone View it says, "If overriding a module provided view, the name must not be changed or instead a new view will be created." But if I put the same name, or no name, it won't accept it. If I put a new name, it creates a new view - not overriding at all.
I want to import a view, which will override a module provided view. I want to do this to preserve the same name, ie "calender". I have made many changes to the calender view, in my dev site.
Maybe there is some other way of doing what I want. Some posts (eg http://drupal.org/node/477506) refer to deleting the view first, then importing the new one. This would be fine, but the module does not seem to allow me to delete a provided view.
I must be missing something....
Thanks
Nigel

is your request still open?
It is for quite a long time undiscussed. So I will set it on fixed to clean the queue.
