Hello all

Maxlength seems not to work with WYSIWYG editors, using the WYSIWYG module.

Ideas con hoe to make them work together are welcome.

RIGHT

so tinyMCE and ckEditor are now compatible with this module! (through the wysiwyg module)

PLease test latest dev and let me know. If no complaints are received in 2 weeks, I'll push a new beta

The countdown works but then it wont stop me from typing more into the field (wysiwyg and ckeditor) it starts to display negative numbers of characters left.

Just wanted to let you guys know.

I'm aware of this, Unfortunately controlling that is not straight forward, hence the negative count. It does however performs a server side validation.

IF anyone finds this to be a problem please open a new issue.
