Just made this module working with drupal 5.x.
In the first step I post the sidebar.info file as sidebar.txt
And then post in the second step the sidebar.module itself.
I am very sorry, I have not much time to make a patch, may be by the end of march.

Hi there,
Would this coding go to the php template or replaces the CSS. Or how do I implement it?

Thanks

Would that solve my problem with the (garland) sidebars that only stretch halfway and wont go all the way down to the footer?
