I use panels currently and would like to try Modal Frame API.

However, jQuery UI 1.7.x is required for Modal Frame API, and it appears Panels (at least In Place Editor) is limited to jQuery 1.6

I am novice and want to be sure I understand correctly. I like the look of Modal but rely on Panels and don't want to break it.

I see almost no issues related to Panel so am hopeful they work together. Feedback appreciated. Thanks.

I disabled the Panels In-Place Editor and upgraded jQuery to 1.7.x per the install instructions.

Can't tell if I ever used the in placed editor but so far so good.
