According to the readme I need to go to Administer >> Organic groups >> Organic groups access
configuration to configure this module, however there is no "Organic groups access
configuration".

The 7.x version is actually just a copy of 6.x code. But no development has already been made to make it works with Drupal 7. I don't know exactly when I can do this. If you wanna help upgrading OG Access Admins to Drupal 7, you're welcome.

Damn ! I thought I had also found the way to fulfill this need!
More than 7 months later BrightBold latest comment, it's still a wish to see this module ported toD7.

Yes, this would really fulfill our needs and precisely those of end-users!!!! By experience, the audience field is particularly unwanted when you manage only one value for this data, eg. only one (private) group.
It would be wonderfull to see a rock port to D7 for site builders who don't customize forms with hooks and so on...

In OG for Drupal 7, you can set the permissions for every field of a group or a group content, including og audience, so this module won't be ported to D7.
