The .info file should not contain "version = 6.x-1.0", that information will be automatically generated by Drupal.org when packaged.

Also, the documentation of hook implementations has changed slightly. Instead of "Implementation of hook_form_alter().", it is "Implements hook_form_alter()."

Otherwise, this module is very useful, and it's a backport of D7 functionality. And, the author shows a good understanding of the Drupal API.
