On registration and account settings page the field size is 60 but on login and request new password page its only 30.

Patch set size to 60.

This resulted in /user/login looking strange since the username field is now size 60 and the password field is size 30.

Attached patch changes password field to size 60.

It needs to be verified that this doesn't affect any other forms...

The size should be the same for textfields and password fields, so +1 on this patch. However, it looks weird to have huge password forms on e.g. user/N/edit or admin/user/user/add, so I changed those to small and adjusted 'password_confirm' to respect sizes.
