Hello,
I have ported drupal 6 Acquia Slate 3.x theme to Drupal 7 Acquia Slate 3.x. For this to work you require Drupal 7, theme Fusion Core 7.x-1.x-dev and skinr module (version- 7.x-2.x-dev). Can anybody please test it and post the issues so that I can fix them. The theme can be downloaded here: http://174.143.242.54/acquia_slate-7.x-3.x-dev.tar.gz
Thanks
Prajakta

Sinoco CreditAttribution: Sinoco commentedIs there a way to get the Acquia Slate banner working without a fully functioning Skinr module?
Thanks!

As the skinr module for D7 version is under development so presently the theme is independent of the skinr module. My apologies for by mistakenly mentioning the dependencies of this theme on skinr module. So this theme will work without skinr module.
I have added the banner styles on the theme settings page without using the skinr module. So now you can disable the skinr module and try it out.
Enable the acquia slate d7 theme and go to the admin > appearance > settings page and at the bottom of the page you will find the radio buttons for selecting the banner styles. Then enable any block in the preface top region and you will be able to see the banner in the background.
For this I have modified the following files:
acquia_slate.info
template.php
theme-settings.php
css/fusion-acquia-slate-style.css
I am attaching all these modified files. Replace the older files with these new files. clear the cache and set the banner background.
Please test this and post the issues if any.
Thanks
Prajakta

prajaktam CreditAttribution: prajaktam commentedHello,
Since the new alpha version of Fusion theme (7.x-1.0-alpha1) is released we need to do some changes in the node.tpl.php file to work the acquia slate theme with this version. I am attaching a zip file for the same.
Thanks,
Prajakta

andrewfn CreditAttribution: andrewfn commentedI have been using this D7 port by assembling together the various patches here and it seems to work fine. Can anyone tell me how this relates to the (as yet unreleased) git version here?

Poieo CreditAttribution: Poieo commentedThe git project is in progress by Top Notch Themes, the original creators of Acquia Slate. This thread contains a port to D7 by a community member. I'm sure Top Notch will release a D7 version of Acquia Slate that has differences from this one, but this is the only one available at the moment.
With that said, I'm adding my own version to the mix. Attached is prajaktam's version with some minor css fixes and skinr support built back in for block styles and titles. You still need to use the theme settings page to get the banner background.
Also, the skinr styles I added are for the original black/grey theme. Trying to use these styles together with the color module will probably end up looking pretty bad.
From what I can tell, when Top Notch releases their version, it will have color support, skinr support, and everything will work well together.
