like the title says the edtitor is not loaded,

i use wysiwyg - Module + FCKedtor

both work for other contenttypes.

You are right I may not be fix it at once, because I'm thinking of moving the petition moduel to an approach similar to the signit module.
I will update this issue in time.
(I have big time issues with my regular work at the moment)
