It would be nice to have links like those in Everything2 at the bottom of a node showing the most popular nodes referring and the most popular nodes leaving. This lets a user discover links that are interesting and popular in relation to a node. Would be very nice to show popular searches from the node as well. See Everything2 for an example.

J0e posted a backlink.module on 5.16/2002 to the Drupal-Devel list. Perhaps it accomplishes this.
