This module allows you to adjust the changed date (date of last update). This makes it possible, for example, to make minor editorial changes without altering the “Changed” field.
Features
In the settings, this feature can be configured individually for each content type. The options available for each content type are:
- Disabled
- Set changed date to now
- Leave the modification date unchanged when saving
- Set the changed date manually
When editing content types for which this feature is enabled, a separate widget for these settings is displayed.
The revision history remains intact, and the list of revisions includes the correct update date.
Before implementation, you should verify whether modifying the update date is desired and permitted. Otherwise, we recommend using a separate field, such as “Displayed Date.”
Post-Installation
Go to /admin/config/content/custom-changed-date and configure the settings for your need.
