Release notes
Kinescope is not listed in https://oembed.com/providers.json, so Drupal core Remote video rejected kinescope.io URLs (No matching provider found).
This release registers Kinescope with Drupal Media oEmbed when kinescope_media is enabled.
oEmbed endpoint: https://kinescope.io/oembed?url=…
Supported URLs: https://kinescope.io/{id} and https://kinescope.io/embed/{id}
Adds Kinescope to the core Remote video (oembed:video) provider list
Adds a dedicated Kinescope oEmbed media source (kinescope_oembed)
The existing Kinescope field and kinescope_player are unchanged
After updating:
Rebuild caches (drush cr) — required if kinescope_media was already enabled.
For existing Remote video media types, add Kinescope under allowed providers (Structure → Media types), or create a media type that uses Kinescope oEmbed.
oEmbed playback uses the core sandboxed media/oembed iframe (not the Kinescope IFrame API or Web Components). Use the Kinescope field / Kinescope media source for the full player, DRM, and popup.
