Automated Functional Acceptance Testing Features

Setup Horizon Aid Locally with:

The Drupal CMS installer with DDEV

mkdir ~/workspace/projects/my-drupal-site-horizonaid && cd ~/workspace/projects/my-drupal-site-horizonaid
ddev config --project-type=drupal11 --docroot=web
ddev composer create-project drupal/cms
ddev launch

Then choose Horizon Aid on the installer's site template step.

  • fix: #3629200 Stop requiring the removed drupal_cms recipes so Horizon Aid installs on Drupal CMS 2.2.3 and later, and give it the Varbase welcome dashboard.

Known issues

  • Composer blocks every enshrined/svg-sanitize 0.x release since the 2026-10-08 security advisories, and drupal/svg_image 3.x, required through Varbase Media Base, does not allow 1.0 yet. Run ddev composer require "enshrined/svg-sanitize:1.0.0 as 0.22.1" --no-update right after ddev composer create-project drupal/cms, as in the setup above.
  • On Drupal CMS, until an administrator answers the Drupal CMS telemetry opt-in dialog, the Country and Program add forms do not show the "Published" checkbox, so new items save unpublished. Answer the dialog first. It appears on admin pages after install.
