Problem/Motivation
Four base recipes are required by the Vardot site templates but never applied by them:
drupal/varbase_ai_basedrupal/varbase_api_basedrupal/varbase_auth_basedrupal/varbase_i18n_base
None of them appears in the recipes: list of Varbase Starter, Educare, Horizon Aid or RightUp, so nothing installs them. They do carry contrib packages that have no stable release: ai_integration_eca, openapi_ui_redoc, social_api, social_auth, canvas_translate and ai_tmgmt.
A Drupal CMS site template is installed on a project that resolves with Composer's default minimum-stability: stable, so those unstable packages block the install. They are being removed from the site templates:
They still belong somewhere. This template is the right home: its root composer.json sets minimum-stability: dev with prefer-stable: true, so it can carry a package whose branch has no stable release yet.
Steps to reproduce
- Build a project from
drupal/varbase_project. - The four recipes are not available to apply, because nothing requires them.
Proposed resolution
Require the four recipes in this template's composer.json, so a Varbase project can apply them when it wants AI, API, social authentication or multilingual features.
