Release notes snippet

• feat: #3615991 Add the Varbase E2E automated functional testing suite
• feat: #3616335 Add a title_size prop to the Dated Vertical Card, and stop the card being padded twice. Adding the prop mints a new Canvas component version (1b941df5cf10c438 → 8ae1a0c2f309e5b8). The old version is retained, so existing content keeps rendering, but config that wants title_size has to move its stored component_version pin forward.

• ✅ Point the README release badge at 1.0.0-alpha2
• ✅ Tag 1.0.0-alpha2 on the green 1.0.x tip and push it to drupal.org and to the GitHub mirror
• ✅ Publish the drupal.org release node and close the issues included in the release
• ❌ Follow-up in Educare: drupal/vartheme_bs5_educare: ~1.0.0 cannot match a pre-release, so the constraint has to become ~1.0.0-alpha2
• ✅ Release vartheme_bs5_educare-1.0.0-alpha2
