You'd probably ask why would we have language selection enabled if there's only 1 language?
Short answer: config split.

Lessons don't have form display settings UI so the proposed resolution for now is to implement a base field info alter hook and set include_locked to FALSE so there's one language in the selector only and then the selector is not displayed at all.

Eventually it'll be good to add that form display UI. <- Ok, that was the right solution after all.
