Group 8.x-1.x will soon be depreciated and users are being directed to use Group 2.0 or 3.0, now in beta. Are there plans to upgrade the Group Permissions module to work with the new Group module?

I was busy with other modules grequest, ginvite and ggroup. Now, it is time to migrate group_permissions. I will prepare the roadmap for a new version. First we will prepare a version for Group 2.0 and based on this version we can introduce a version for Group 3.0.
