Opening of 8.x-2.x

Problem/Motivation

I'm writing a similar module that also provides the ability to the site administrator to create custom metatags but with its storage in the Drupal Configuration. I'm thinking it's better to open a new 8.x-2.x branch in the cusom_meta module if you're fine with that. Otherwise, I'll create a separate module.
