I would like to build and maintain a version of this module to work with the 4.x version of the graphql module.

Creating this issue so I've got a working branch, no need to make a release yet if we'd rather wait and see how the code shapes up :)

This should be pretty stable except for locale handling.

Locale can be passed directly to the library but I'm not sure how I should be retrieving the locale code to use.

Decided to expose langcode as a parameter to the front end. Doesn't seem to be a standard way of handling them on the backend yet.
