Thanks for the issue and the preliminary patch. I think adding token support for the custom css classes is a good idea. I'll work on it!

Sorry for the delay. Here's a patch that brings support for tokens into the custom classes. I've updated and added test coverage, so I'm pretty sure it works. However, it would be great if you could test it out before I merge and add it to a release. Thanks!
