JavaScript functions for bold, italics and links in submit forms

There's an article on the O'Reilly Network about using JavaScript for GUI functions dealing with text in forms. The article shows a few functions for wrapping selected text in forms with bold, italics, and link tags. This would be a nice feature to add to the "Submit" pages. If you anyone has seen Movable Type, they do this very well.

Cool. I just found these on Julian's site and came back to note that when I saw your message Kika.

Could this be incorporated into future releases of Drupal? These things are timesavers.
