The current output only provide absolute URL for each item.
In some headless cases, the Drupal backend does not operate on the same domain than the frontend. A relative URL is more useful in theses cases to construct frontend links & navigation in the correct domain.

Thanks for the patch. I will take a look what I will do with this. Preferably I would like to add a relative parameter or something. Or maybe even a fields parameter. I have created issue #2908211: Make the returned fields configurable for that.

For now I will add the relative url to the response.
