When I unpublish a gallery item, the corresponding thumbnail picture is still publicly visible on the thumbnails page (showing all images for the gallery), even when I'm visiting the page as an anonymous visitor. Clicking on the image to view it, I get the standard "access denied" error message.

I found a way to fix it and I hope it doesn't break anything (as far as I can tell it doesn't): in the view "Node Gallery: Gallery Item Views", under FILTER CRITERIA, in the "Gallery Item) Content: Published (Yes)" filter, the Relationship field should specify "Gallery Item". By default this field is set to "Do not use a relationship".

Changing this solves the issue, and the unpublished images are no longer shown as thumbnails.
