when saving a view this error is logged:
Strict warning: Only variables should be assigned by reference in views_distinct_process_views_view() (line 235 of ...\modules\views_distinct\views_distinct.module).

This should be fixed - see commit 4d4e38d. I've tagged a new release: 7.x-1.0-rc1.

Please check and let me know if you still experience any problems with views_distinct 7.x-1.0-rc1!
