I think this issue belongs here instead of the DAN theme where it has already been posted. An image that is part of the post does not show in the frontpage polaroid, only the user image that posted the node if the have an image, else a colored block is shown. initially thought it was a private vs public image issue but i think I've ruled that out.

I do see that works nice on your site and that it installed at a few hundred sites, must be something that is just not set right on my install. D7 with a basic new content type that has an image field, image as the widget. i also have file field with pathauto, enabled or not it still does not show an image. the filename replacement I have is using the default [file:ffp-name-only-original].[file:ffp-extension-original] and cleanup with pathauto. any other settings that are needed/advised ?
