I'm not 100% sure this is possible, but it would be excellent if we could hook into admin_menu and get the image styles flushed when flushing all caches, or at least add a separate menu item for quick flushing all image styles.

That issue doesn't add a link to admin menu, it just makes a more specific permission for users to flush image caches.
