Instead of there only being one option for captions in the views formatter settings, allow user to select separate captions for main and pager.
Also only allow one field to be selected for the main image and the pager image. Multiples do not work so switch to radios instead of checkboxes on those fields.

Patch applied and works as described. It wipes out your field mapping settings in your view so make sure you reset those after applying the patch.
