I am working on a feature that will allow for the URL '/entity_json/%entity_type/%entity_id' to be used to get the JSON for any entity. I am working on the code as well as all relevant permissions that should be added to this.

This is my proposed patch, but I want to have @dww check it out to make sure this would be a worthwhile feature. It also adds in basic permissions for the module, and a few minor things.
